The Truth About Great Teachers and Leaders.
“If he is indeed wise he does not bid you enter the house
of his wisdom, but rather leads you to the threshold of
your own mind.” Kahlil Gibran

All of us are sometimes in the role of a teacher or leader.
We also are in the role of student or learner at different
times. Usually the better the student a person is, the
better teacher and leader he or she can become. As
teachers, we frequently will emphasize those lessons we
want or need to know. Many times as teachers we will learn
more than our students.

When we are in the role of teacher, we have an opportunity
to give something back to others. We have the opportunity
to pass on the lessons which were taught to us by our
teachers. It is an opportunity to positively or negatively
influence others. A teacher’s influence can be powerful and
long lasting. Henry Adams believed that,”A teacher affects
eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.”
This is why we have a responsibility to be good examples of
what we are teaching and to respect the worth and dignity
of our students. The way we perceive our students or
employees, and the expectations we have for them, often has
a greater effect than the lessons we are teaching. Our
vision of their potential can have a transformational
effect on the students as this mental picture is
transferred to their minds. Do we see them as worthwhile
human beings with the potential to learn and succeed? If
so, their chances of success are greater.

Studies have been conducted in the schools that demonstrate
that a teacher’s expectations influence his or her pupil’s
performance. There are examples in which teachers were told
that one group of students were the smart ones and another
group were the dumb ones, when both groups were actually of
similar intelligence. The students performed according to
the preconceptions and expectations of their teachers. The
students who were considered the smart ones performed
significantly better than the group who had been labeled as
unintelligent. The teachers had verbally and nonverbally
communicated their expectations to the students who
performed accordingly. Students will usually rise to the
level of the teacher’s expectations. All that I am saying
about the teacher student relationship is meant to include
the supervisor employee relationship.

When we are in the role of a leader teacher, whether as a
parent, minister, employer, mentor, or friend, who we are
is even more important than what we say. We always radiate
who we are, and the more we develop ourselves, the greater
will be our influence. This is why continuous personal,
professional, and spiritual growth is so important. Our
level of inner development determines the impact we have on
others. We must live what we are teaching in order to speak
with the deep conviction which will influence others. There
needs to be congruency between who we are and what we say
and do. If I am a supervisor who is consistently late for
work and I emphasize to my employees the importance of
being on time, what effect can I expect from my words? My
exhortations would lack power.

In our role as students and employees, we can strive for
quality education or training, and be receptive to the
lessons being provided by our teachers and leaders. In our
role as teachers and leaders, we can nurture the seeds of
greatness within our students and employees, and bring out
the best that is in them. Helping the learner to unfold his
or her potential is education and leadership in the truest
sense and teaching at its best.

Soothing Aromatherapy At Your Favorite Marrakech Riad

Thursday, June 28th, 2007

==================
While it is true that the real adventurers never lose
enthusiasm towards going places, we can not deny the fact that
traveling is a strenuous activity that can rob us out of
energy. An exotic destination such as the city of Marrakech in
Morocco requires every traveler to be fueled not only with mere
passion for travel, but also with a well-nourished mind and
body. A simple rest and sleep in a Marrakech Riad are not
enough to comfort a traveler’s body drained out of energy and
vigor. So, how do you fully restore power for your mind and
body while inside a Marrakech Riad? The answer is only a sniff
away.

Aromatherapy, according to Encyclopedia Britannica, is a
“therapy using essential oils extracted from plant materials to
promote physical, emotional, and spiritual health and balance”.
The extracted oils, which mostly came from fragrant flowers,
are capable of bringing a calming and relaxing feeling that can
relieve your body, mind, and soul from the stress and fatigue
that any travel activity can bring. Do you know that some
Marrakech Riad hammams are home to three rare kinds of
essential oils that have many beneficial properties? If not,
read on so you will know which essential oil your body needs at
the moment:

1. Atlas Cedarwood Essential Oil

The plant that gives out this essential oil can only be found
in Morocco, particularly near the Atlas Mountain area, which
explains the name. Atlas Cedarwood oil is clear so it mixes
well with rose and cypress oils. It has a rich, woody, and
long-lasting aroma that makes it a favorite ingredient in high
quality perfumes. It is proven to improve the circulation of
the blood and can help prevent urinary diseases. People with
oily skins can benefit from this essential oil because once
applied, it regulates the production of sebum or the oily
substance of our skin. Many satisfied Atlas Cedarwood essential
oil consumers in Marrakech Riad hammams claim that the oil
reduces anxiety and calms the mind.

2. Bay Essential Oil

Spain and Morocco are the top producers of this essential oil
extracted from a plant which belongs to the family of Evergreen
trees. It is also referred to as Sweet Bay and Laurel. This
herb, which used to be a symbol of courage and wisdom during
the Roman period, undergoes steam distillation for the
extraction of the oil. Bay oil relieves muscle pain, rheumatism
and other general body aches. People with thinning hair should
take advantage of the special property of Bay oils that promote
hair growth. If you are in a Marrakech Riad hammam, ask for the
masseurs to give you a massage with this essential oil that
comes with the sweet scent of Ylang-Ylang or Juniper extracts.
A pleasurable massage using the Bay oil will definitely prepare
you for more exciting Marrakech travel adventures.

3. Argan Essential Oil

Southwest Morocco is the only place where you can find Argan,
the tree which produces the fruit that gives out the precious
Argan oil. If you are a skincare conscious traveler, it is
recommended that you request the masseurs in your Marrakech
Riad hammam to apply Argan essential oil on your skin because
of its regenerative property; meaning it has the ability to
reactivate cells that can make your skin look younger and
healthy. Erase those unwanted wrinkles by applying a small
amount of this vitamin E-rich essential oil on your face. The
refreshing smell of Argan oil is also a proven stress-reliever.

You see, a Riad in Marrakech is not only a simple Moroccan
accommodation. It can also be a place where you can get a
soothing aromatherapy experience.

Teak Outdoor Furniture Buying Guide

Thursday, June 28th, 2007

==================
Teak Outdoor Furniture Buying Guide

Congratulations on your decision to purchase high-quality teak
outdoor furniture! Because teak outdoor furniture comes in a
wide variety of options, this buying guide will help you select
the highest quality outdoor furniture for your family’s needs.

Here is a list of things that you should look for when buying
teak outdoor furniture:

100% Class 1 Teak Outdoor Furniture:
Why Class 1? If you’re looking for high-quality teak outdoor
furniture, this designation ensures that you receive the
absolute best teak wood available and not some inferior type of
wood, such as Eucalyptus, Nyatoah, or Shorea. With a Class 1
designation, you can rest assured that you will receive exactly
what you pay for. Only teak wood can provide the long-lasting
beauty that you and your family desire.

Plantation Grown Teak Outdoor Furniture:
Reforested and government regulated, plantation grown teak wood
is carefully monitored to ensure that the quantity and the size
of the teak wood that can be used to make furniture is within
government guidelines, giving peace of mind to the
environmentally conscious consumer. Selecting teak outdoor
furniture from a manufacturer that uses plantation grown teak
wood also ensures that an equal number of teak trees are
re-planted.

No-Knot, Oil-Free Teak Outdoor Furniture:
When shopping for teak outdoor furniture, make sure you select
teak wood without knots. Knotted teak wood indicates that the
wood is too young and is not as durable as a mature teak wood.
Another sign that the teak wood is too young to use is that it
is very oily. So, for long-lasting teak outdoor furniture, be
sure to choose a teak wood that is oil and knot free.

Solidly Constructed Teak Outdoor Furniture:
The best teak outdoor furniture will stand the test of time.
Look for outdoor furniture that uses heavy, rather than light,
teak wood. Also, be sure to look for solid pieces of wood and
quality brass or stainless steel fittings, which are signs of
solid construction.

Kiln-Dried Teak Out Door Furniture:
One of the most important things to note when shopping for teak
outdoor furniture is how it was dried prior to construction.
High-quality teak wood is not air-dried; instead, it is kiln (a
thermally insulated chamber) dried, thoroughly drying it inside
a chamber, which increases the stability and hardness of the
wood, making it more durable.

Again, congratulations on your decision to purchase
high-quality teak outdoor furniture. We hope that this buying
guide has helped you make an informed decision.

Spirituality Information – Journey In The Fields Of Forever ( Part 81)

Thursday, June 28th, 2007

==================
Pandayji rarely gets flustered as his work brings him in touch
with all sorts of people. He is as comfortable speaking with
peasants in the planting fields as delivering a moving speech
to crowds of thousands. Through the auspices of Pandayji, I
have met government leaders and top celebrities in his country
and, yet, in the presence of Gideon and Marla, he appeared as a
little schoolboy seeing his hero, face to face for the first
time.

“HiPandayji,”saidGideonashereachedoverandshook Pandayji’s
outstretched hand, “it’s great to see you again.”

“Again? Whatever do you mean, sir?” Pandayji looked puzzled,
“unfortunately, I don’t recall ever meeting you before.”

Marla walked over to Pandayji, shook his hand and said, “You
may not remember meeting us, but I assure you, we know you
well. John speaks of you often. And, of course, we see you from
time to time when we visit the Holy Ones. Sometimes we meet
during dream time.”

“You certainly understand these things, Pandayji,” Gideon
added. “Anyone who spends so much time with the Holy Ones will
understand who we are and what we’re about.”

By this time we were all sitting comfortably around the table.
Having possession of the Ambrose Stone after all these years
caused me to squirm with excitement. I was anxious to share its
story with Gideon. From the corner of my eye, I could see
Pandayji sitting sponge-like, quietly absorbing everything that
was going on. It was as if he was trying to remember long
forgotten adventures while reacquainting himself with old
companions. I casually glanced at Marla and, again, there was
that special alluring sensation at having her so close. We
placed our dinner order and casually chatted while it was being
served. But the Ambrose Stone, I must get back to it.

“Gideon, do you know what this is?” I asked, hardly able to
contain my enthusiasm between bites of the delicate Indian
roti. “I mean, this is the most amazing thing that could ever
happen. Here, look at it.” I handed the pouch containing the
Ambrose Stone to Gideon and waited with anticipation for his
response as I reached for my glass of water. Some Indian
curries could be very spicy.

Herbal and Natural Remedies for Colon Problems

Finding natural solutions to maintaining colon health is obviously a
great approach. Introducing chemical-based prescription medications
into the body can have adverse affects. Many people believe that the
benefits of taking laxatives or over the counter enemas far outweighs
any harm they may experience as a result of the chemicals that
compromise these solutions. A much better and healthier approach is
to seek out a natural solution. Some effective herbal remedies for
colon health include:

Garlic. This has become something of a wonder herbal remedy in recent
years as more and more people are recognizing the positive benefits of
adding garlic to their diet. Garlic has been shown to help reduce the
chances of developing pre-cancerous polyps in the colon. It is also
believed that people who eat garlic on a regular basis or those who
take garlic supplements are less likely to develop colon cancer.

Green tea. Another herb that has become a focal point for those
looking for a natural alternative to traditional medicine. In terms
of colon health, green tea is believed to help reduce a person’s risk
of developing cancer in their colon.

Grape seed extract. Recent studies have shown that consuming grape
seed extract can actually slow the progression of cancer cells in the
colon. For someone with a history of colon cancer in their family,
adding this natural substance to their daily diet can be worthwhile.

Turmeric. A fundamental ingredient in curry, this herb is proving to
be an ally in the fight against colon cancer. Taking a supplement
that contains turmeric can help to reduce the risk of polyps adhering
to the wall of the colon.

Ginger. Another spice that is an integral part of many dishes, this
substance has proven to be effective in continued health in the colon.
Adding ginger to the diet as a spice can help prevent the development
of cancer cells within the colon. Although it can be taken as a
supplement in capsule form, it’s much better tasting and easier to
absorb when added as an ingredient during cooking.

One natural remedy for continued colon health is Vitamin D. In its
most natural form, Vitamin D is derived from direct sunlight. Many
people believe this is the best way for the body to absorb it. If
this is the approach that the individual takes, they should be aware
of the damaging effects of the sun on skin cells and therefore using a
sunscreen is recommended. Vitamin D can also be taken in the form of
a daily supplement. It is also found in many foods and is often added
to orange juice as well.

Calcium should also be taken in a supplement form in an effort to
improve colon health in general. Many people find it difficult to
drink milk products because of intolerance to lactose. If the person
has irritable bowel syndrome it becomes even more difficult to
comfortably eat or drink dairy products. In addition to being a
natural remedy for colon problems, calcium is also essential for
strong bones, which helps to prevent osteoporosis later in life.

Nutritional Approaches and Remedies for Colon Problems

Experts believe that anyone’s colon can remain healthy and in perfect
functioning order with a few simple nutritional changes. A balanced
diet that is rich in certain foods is said to aid in the digestion and
elimination of food. Some good food choices that anyone can make to
ensure a healthy colon include:

A diet rich in fiber. The average adult doesn’t get near the
recommended amount of fiber in their diet each day. Fiber aids in
digestion so it’s important to consume the minimum recommended 25
grams of fiber per day.

A diet low in animal fat. Red meat is said to cause problems
associated with heart health. It is now being linked to colon
problems as well. Restricting or eliminating the intake of red meat
is highly advisable. Substituting the red meat with either chicken or
fish has a positive effect on the colon as well as many other body organs.
Fruits and vegetables. Specifically peppers, carrots and oranges have
been shown to help prevent colon cancer. They are also beneficial in
maintaining a healthy body weight which contributes to a healthy colon.

Limited saturated fats. In addition to eating less animal fat,
individuals concerned with the health of their colon should also
restrict how much saturated fat they are eating. Saturated fat can be
found in whole milk, butter and ice cream.

An adequate supply of calcium each day. In addition to helping
provide strong bones and teeth, calcium is crucial in keeping the
colon healthy. An average adult should consume at least a quart of
milk each day. In addition, cheese and yogurt are also excellent
sources of this mineral and should be an integral part of everyone’s diet.

Many people believe strongly that in order to keep the colon clean and
healthy, organic foods should be consumed. With the availability of
organic foods in many corner grocery stores this ideal is becoming
easier to achieve. In addition, it’s been suggested that eating whole
grains each day can have a beneficial effect on colon health as well.
Three servings of whole grains in the form of breads, cereals and
pastas should be consumed on a daily basis. This will also prove
helpful to individuals who are trying to control their weight in an
effort to stay healthier.

Eating out can be a challenge for someone trying to eat in a healthy
manner. It is primarily about choice and in almost every situation
there are healthy choices to be made. It is simply a matter of taking
the time to become informed about what foods are healthy and which are
filled with empty fats.

Drinking water in the amount of eight glasses a day should be a normal
part of every person’s daily routine. Water helps in the digestion
process and it also aids in elimination. Although some people are apt
to add sugary drink mixes to the water, that isn’t advisable because
of the empty calories. Instead, spring or mineral water should be
drank in place of other beverages including soda and coffee.

From Work At Home Guitar Teacher To Full Music School

Thursday, June 28th, 2007

==================
Andrew James Hymel is the owner, proprietor, and music director
of Andy Hymel School of Music in Gretna, Louisiana, just outside
of New Orleans. It is a success story that has blossomed from
one man’s dream of music education into a consortium of
teachers and students who strive for excellence and value the
importance of the preservation of the arts in today’s New
Orleans.

When asked about his Post Katrina experience, Hymel relied, “It
was scary to reopen the school and it was like starting over,
but I felt the community needed something to use as an outlet
for the emotions caused by Katrina. We weren’t just rebuilding
a music school; we were rebuilding the minds and souls of our
students and their families.”

Andy Hymel earned a degree in Jazz Performance from Loyola

University in New Orleans, LA. At a young age, his musical
talents developed from “jamming” with neighborhood musicians in
the Algiers area, notably Frank Saucier, a regular solo artist
at Kerry’s Irish Pub in the French Quarter. In the 80′s, he
honed his guitar skills at the World’s Fair with the vocal
group “Celebration” and is to this day appreciative of that
opportunity.

While his music accomplishments were self-developed, his
community involvement and business acumen were mostly inspired
by his dad.

His father, Lloyd Hymel, is a pillar of the Algiers community
and an elder of Saint Andrews the Apostle Church. He was
Chairman of the West Bank Chamber of Commerce, President of the
Petroleum Club and the West Bank Rotary Club, and Vice President
of AMF Tuboscope in Harvey, Louisiana.

One of his brothers, Philip Hymel, is the Chief Financial
Forecaster of Entergy New Orleans and recently served as
President of the University of New Orleans Alumni Association.
Another brother, David Hymel, is in the oil and gas business
and for years organized the oil field “Chili Cook Off”;
recently at Boomtown Casino and previously at Alvin Andrew
Callender Naval Airforce Base in Belle Chasse, Louisiana.

Another brother, Greg, owned and operated a Zack’s Frozen
Yogart franchise and is a Ginger Baker “Cream” style drummer.
His is also an artist/painter and is displayed in several
restauraunts in the New Orleans area. Obviously, the senior Mr.
Hymel set a solid foundation for his children to excel in
business and community development.

With that said, it is apparent that Andy Hymel has parlayed his
strong family values and love of music instruction from a work
at home business into a full blown, reputable, school of music.

Branching off from the security of working from home, Hymel
first opened his school at 601 Terry Parkway in Gretna, LA, in
an area commonly known as Terrytown. What started as a handful
of students quickly blossomed into a full school of music with
280 students strong and has had to relocate to a larger
building at 1800 Stumph Boulevard. Predominantly a guitar
teacher, he also teaches piano and bass. His drum instructor,
Jumpin’ Joe Gelini, graduated from Berklee School of Music in
Boston, a great accomplishment considering only 2% of those who
attend Berklee actually graduate. The school has a wide variety
of teachers, including band directors and vocal coaches,
covering several instruments and genres. Even Hymel’s high
school guitar teacher from Holy Cross is on the payroll!

Mr. Hymel (not his dad Lloyd) believes that music education can
start at the Pre-K level and has programs and original songs in
place for the youngest of students. He also has courses geared
for “Baby Boomers” as well.

In between those age groups, one of his most amazing
accomplishments is that 5 of his students have received full
scholarships to various schools of music and EVERY one of his
10 students who have applied to NOCCA was accepted on their
first audition!

One former student begins as an understudy this fall with the
Metropolitan Opera Association. Another, Alex Zander, is a
published singer/songwriter. Alex is an entire story yet to be
written. Stay tuned.

In addition to his accomplishments as a teacher and
entrepreneur, he has written and recorded hundreds of original
songs and his efforts are starting to be recognized. Most
notably. the son of Clarenece “Frogman” Henry, marketing
himself as Clarence “Frogman” Henry Jr. , is considering many
of Hymel’s songs for his soon to be released CD.

For Andrew James Hymel this is only the start. As an unabashed
Beatles fan, an admitted student of New Orleans music, and an
unwavering ambassador of music education, the sky is the limit!

Whether you listen to me or not, you will certainly hear from
him.

Thursday, June 28th, 2007

==================
Studying the beginnings of aromatherapy will certainly go a
long way in helping you in understanding how as well as why
aromatherapy works the way that it does. You will find much to
choose from at the various bath and body shopping malls that
are stocked with different oils as well as scented items.
However, we need to focus on what the ingredients of these oils
are in order to understand how to get maximum benefits from
aromatherapy essential oils.

Does Wonders For The Way That You Will Feel

There is no doubting that aromatherapy essential oils will do
wonders for your feelings, which will make you feel as if you

altogether. These essential oils are the core of such changes
in feelings and thus it would be in your best interests to get
to know what it is that you are spraying and massaging your
skin with.

The main ingredients of aromatherapy essential oils are
extracted from the fragrance of plants with the actual oil
being obtained through the process of steam distillation,

plants. Aromatherapy essential oils have found use over the
centuries are they used in aromatherapy candles, cooking
flavors as well as incense, spiritual ceremonies, or for
natural healing.

Aromatherapy essential oils are derived from plants such as
juniper, sage as also rosemary. However, it would be wrong to
consider aromatherapy essential oils as being omnipotent just
because they are extracted from these plants. In fact, too much
of these oils can actually be hazardous to the health and so one
should know the product well as well as be careful while using
it.

Aromatherapy essential oils have a number of uses including

spiritual uses, and they are very useful also when used for
medicinal purposes. You can also use these essential oils to
provide relief to sore muscles as well as stressed out moods.

Teacher Cover Letters: A Powerful Teacher Cover Letter Secret
When searching for a teaching job it goes without saying
that a powerful, well-written, teacher cover letter is a
critical piece in the process.=A0

I have written several articles on the topic of teacher
cover letters and how to make your teacher cover letter
stand out.

However, this article is NOT about “how” to write a teacher
cover letter, but rather what to do once your teacher cover
letter is written.

I know what you’re thinking=85 “What to do with it? Just send
it in with your resume.”

Well, if that’s all you’re going to do, you are certainly
not going to stand out above the competition=85which can be
very tough when it comes to getting a teaching job.

So, what should you do with your teacher cover letter?

Well, first of all, you are not just going to “send” in
your teacher cover letter and teacher resume. Instead, you
should “walk” in your teacher cover letter/teacher resume.

That’s right=85you are going to hand-deliver your cover
letter and resume. Doing so will put a face to the name
and will most definitely make you stand out from all of
those other applicants who only sent theirs in.

However, more important than “standing out” is the fact
that an administrator may actually give you an interview on
the spot!

The second thing you’re going to do is write three versions
of your teacher cover letter.

That’s right=853 versions. You need to stop thinking of your
teacher cover letter as just one individual letter and more
as a series of three letters.

The first letter is the traditional teacher cover letter.
The one we just discussed that you both send in AND
hand-deliver that are both accompanied by your resume.

It’s the second and third cover letter, however, that are
going to really separate yourself from the crowd.

Remember, the old Head & Shoulders commercial slogan? “You
only get one chance to make a first impression.”

Well=85maybe that’s not entirely true. Maybe you get two

Your second cover letter is known as a “follow-up teacher
cover letter”. This cover letter comes AFTER you have
landed the interview, but BEFORE the actual interview takes
place. In those few days in between is when you send out
your “follow-up teacher cover letter”.

This cover letter is similar to your original cover letter
with some minor changes. Your follow-up teacher cover
letter is “slightly” less formal. It is somewhat of a
cross between a cover letter and a thank you note.

Start the letter off with a thank you for the upcoming
interview at [insert date and time]. Make sure you include
the date and time. This will make you stand out even
more=85*they* will be looking forward to *your* interview!
Once you have thanked the appropriate person, highlight the
key points you made in your original teacher cover letter.

The third in the series of teacher cover letters is the
“post-interview teacher cover letter”.

This third “cover letter” is much less formal and is
leaning more towards a thank you note than a cover letter.
In fact, this third letter should actually be presented as
a “hand-written” note on nice, professionally monogrammed
stationary.

You give this third letter to each and every person that
sat on the interview committee. Address each by name and
keep it short. Start by thanking the person for their time
AND make sure to add something specific from your interview
=96 this will again, make YOUR interview stand out. Next,
wrap up that letter with something specific about their
school and your passion to teach there.

But wait! You’re not done!

Make sure you=85Don’t Give Up!

If your “post-interview teacher cover letter” doesn’t get
you a phone call within a couple of days, then follow-up
with an email=85

If that doesn’t work, then follow-up again with a phone
call.

Persistence can pay off big time and can be the difference
between getting a teaching job or being back to looking for
more teacher interviews.

This teacher cover letter process is extremely powerful and
will put you light years ahead of the competition.

Here are the steps once again:

1. Original Teacher Cover Letter ~ mail AND hand-deliver
along with teacher resume.

2. Follow-Up Teacher Cover Letter ~ mail AFTER you get the
interview, but BEFORE the interview takes place.

3. Post-Interview Teacher Cover Letter ~ hand-written
thank you, follow-up email, follow-up phone call.

Plain and simple=85you greatly increase your chances of
getting a teaching job when you use this approach to
writing your teacher cover letter.

If you haven’t experienced White Persian Melon tea, you’ve
missed a real treat. White Persian Melon tea is a flavorful
blend of white tea combined with sweet melon nectar. It’s one
of healthiest and most refreshing beverages you can drink.

But, like other teas, some White Persian Melon teas are better
than others.

Making great White Persian Melon tea, of course, requires the
best white tea with the best melon flavoring.

One of the features that people typically evaluate in
determining good tea is when the tea is plucked. However, this
is not the best way to judge the White Persian Melon Tea you’re
buying.

White tea can only be harvested for about two weeks during
March and April of each year. White tea, by definition, is a
spring tea, harvested only from the very first buds the tea
plant produces each year. Harvesting white tea requires
particular temperatures and other environmental conditions.

It must be picked when the weather is dry and there has been no
frost the night before. Therefore, all white tea is a “first
plucking” unlike other tea plants, which are plucked multiple
times during the growing season.

So, when it comes to choosing the best White Persian Melon Tea,
it’s more important to understand the best varieties of white
tea, so that you know that your White Persian Melon tea is high
quality. These varieties are used by many different companies
and can be found in several different brands of white tea.

Bai Hao Yinzhen Tea =96 A Chinese white tea, this is considered
the very finest grade of white tea. It is usually referred to
as Silver Needle tea and can only be plucked for a little more
than two weeks of during March and April. There must be no rain
or dew on the ground when it is plucked and there can be no
frost. Only unopened and undamaged buds are used to produce
this white tea.

Bai Mu Dan Tea =96 This tea is also grown in China, and is
generally considered the second highest grade of Yinzhen tea.
This tea is also picked during a short timeframe in March and
April and requires correct environmental conditions, too.
However, compared to Bai Hao Yinzhen tea, it contains more
leaves and fewer buds. The very best tea of this grade uses
only the top two leaves on the tea plant, along with the
unopened bud.

Darjeeling White Tea =96 Darjeeling tea is grown in the
Darjeeling region of India, the part of the world famous for
Darjeeling black teas. Darjeeling white tea is a wonderful
combination of the delicacy of white tea with the muscatel
flavor that is unique to Darjeeling teas. You’ll find several
grades of Darjeeling. To choose the best, be certain that the
tea is 100% Darjeeling.

Ceylon White Tea =96 Ceylon tea is produced in Sri Lanka and is
one of the most famous of the black teas. Ceylon white is rare
and highly prized. It has a pale color and a hint of honey in
its sweetness.

In addition to choosing a White Persian Melon tea that features
one of the best white tea varieties, it’s also important to
choose a tea that gets its melon flavoring from the highest
quality sources.

The best White Persian Melon tea is flavored with melon nectar
that has a flavor that is a cross between the tastes of
honeydew and cantaloupe.

High quality nectar is important to imparting the sweetness and
lightness of the melon flavor and to ensuring that the melon’s
anti-oxidants are protected.

Choosing high quality White Persian Melon Tea ensures not only
that the taste will be as delicious as you expect, but also
that you’ll get all the health benefits you’ve come to expect
from white tea. And, with good White Persian Melon tea, you get
even greater health benefits than with many other white teas.

Because white tea is not fermented during processing, it
retains more anti-oxidants in their most natural state. In
addition, melon is a potent source of anti-oxidants, as well.
Anti-oxidants are important to our health because they fight
free radicals in our bodies. Free radicals are oxygen
containing molecules that are created as our bodies turn the
food we eat into energy.

Though they are naturally generated, they cause cell and DNA
damage, which, over time, leads to aging and disease.
Anti-oxidants neutralize these free radicals before they can
damage our cells and DNA. For this reason, a diet full of
anti-oxidant rich foods like fruits, vegetables and tea, are
important to keeping us healthy and ensuring that we live a
long life.

White tea contains, among others, the anti-oxidant EGCG
(epigallocatechin gallate), which is one of the most powerful
of any anti-oxidant. Much research has shown that life long
consumption of the anti-oxidants in white and green tea can
prevent cancer, heart disease and many other maladies of aging.

Melon contains the anti-oxidant GliSODin, which is another of
the most powerful anti-oxidants.

GliSODin has been shown to neutralize some of the most powerful
free radicals in our bodies and stimulates our bodies to make
its own anti-oxidants.

This is especially important because scientists believe that
our own body’s anti-oxidants are more effective at destroying
free radicals than those we ingest from our diets.

So, as you can see, White Persian Melon tea is one of the
healthiest beverages you can add to your diet. Purchase your
tea from the most reputable tea companies to ensure you’re
buying only the best white tea mixed with only the best melon
nectar. The delicious and refreshing flavor will be certain to
please your palate while it protects your body.
